Unfortunately I'm not feeling quite as silver-tongued as I was when I wrote the last post, but I thought I'd give an update on the situation. I did in fact succumb to WoW, but I very quickly realized that while I have some incredible memories from it, it no longer has very much power over me if any. It's like I want to play and experience all this stuff again, but when I get in there and try questing I just can't get into it. Thankfully, I had a friend use a Scroll Of Resurrection, which gives a former player 10 free days to try out the game again. So it will not have been a waste of money.
Also partially responsible is Grand Theft Auto IV, which I snatched up used on Thursday night. Shortly thereafter, I was causing mass chaos and destruction throughout Liberty City with Andrew and Jer, later joined by Chris. I'm pretty blown away by this one, let me tell you. I'm having a lot of fun with it. I dunno if I'd rate it a 10 out of 10, but it's definitely a great game and I recommend it very highly.
Also, Guitar Hero: Metallica was just announced for Q1 2009! I'm so there.
